How to make money with a blog?

A blog to share ideas, passions, tutorials…
It’s not the simplest way, but more and more people in the world live off their blogs. There are many candidates but there are few elected, and it is not necessary to receive 10,000 visits per day to achieve a good monthly income.

Usually, blogs are written by passionate about a subject and want to share their knowledge and experience.

In my case, I have tried several ways, known and less known, to make money, and I love discovering new methods – that’s why I created this blog, to share it with you. I have prepared a special article to tell you the methods I use to make money with a blog.

You can write a blog about anything: photography, motherhood, gardening, athletics, travel, wine, cooking, makeup… If you have a passion, go.

On the Internet you can find millions of free resources that will help you to evaluate your idea, create your blog and publish the first article. There are other free resources that also allow you to take more visits to your blog and start generating some money.

For my part, these last months, I was freaking out with these blogs:

• My Web positioning. Each article by Rubén comes full of many useful and applicable information in the next 5 minutes. For example, he gave me the idea to sign up for the blog awards. I didn’t believe it, but I discharged. And in the first partial classification, I positioned myself as 13th. Oh My God!
• Citizen 2.0. Raquel and Berto, besides being a nice couple, give you some articles that come from another world. It’s going to sound exaggerated, but I expect each of your new entries as I hope next season of Game of Thrones. That’s how I’m a fan.

If you want to launch, I advise you to use WordPress. It is a very intuitive platform, easy to use and in less than 5 minutes you can have your own blog with a personalized theme. And of course, it’s free. And it works from any part of the world.

23. Put publicity on your blog

This is probably the best known method to make money with a blog. It is to put advertising banners on your website (Google Adsense), recommend a product that you liked a lot (eg via Aklamio that also has cashback) or redirect your visits to the website of an advertiser, who will pay you a Commission for each high (this is what proposes an affiliation service like Daysicon or Affilinet).

If you get a good follow-up, it’s because people like what you write, and because they’ve found a lot of valuable information.

Perhaps the time has come to “sell” your knowledge. That can take many forms:

• Assemble a video training where you explain with many details some solution to the most common problems of your subject.
  Propose coaching sessions. They are Skype sessions, one or several hours, where you are with a person and help this person to resolve their situation, based on your knowledge and experience.
• Write a guide or an ebook related to your subject. Electronic books, or Infoproductos, are becoming more and more successful in the online world – many times, it is the first product that will come to mind, since it is the easiest. Also, you can propose in your blog, but also in Amazon for example.
• Give lectures. You get together with other experts on your subject and give a lecture at a conference. Sometimes you will be paid for it, and above all it will help you to get to know… and thus, you’ll generate more sales.
• Each shape has its pros and cons, but the 4 will take you money if you do it right. There are bloggers who live only on the electronic guides they sell on their blog.

And again, the good thing about it is that it will work for you alive where you live. What’s more, if you live in some Latin American country, you may be able to work much better than if you lived in the United States or Europe. The reason? In Latin America, there are usually fewer blogs and therefore the competition is lower. It’ll be easier to position yourself.
